GRAND CANYON, Arizona — Park residents are scheduled to receive household water and supplies on October 24 as Grand Canyon National Park continues recovery from August and September flooding.
The park’s community resource page lists distribution from noon to 4 p.m. at the FMD location on Shuttle Bus Road and at Desert View. Availability can depend on shipments, weather and staffing.
The same update describes ongoing water hauling and conservation measures. It projects a water treatment plant startup in November, while emphasizing that restoration dates are tentative.
Residents should confirm current arrangements through official park notices and Everbridge alerts. The photograph accompanying this report documents a September distribution event; it does not show the October 24 activity. The park also provides a reporting form for changes in household tap-water conditions.
