A November 4–5 agritourism conference at Cornell AgriTech in Geneva will spotlight a growing part of New York’s farm economy, according to a September 21 Cornell feature.

The report describes Cornell Cooperative Extension’s support for farms offering visitor experiences. It cites nearly 1,000 businesses and $55.5 million in revenue from 2022 federal agricultural data. These are historical figures, not a 2026 revenue estimate.

Examples include Clover Brooke Farm in Hyde Park, where animal encounters draw visitors. Prospective conference attendees should consult organizers for registration and current availability.
