Wyoming | Employment report | September 2026 data

Wyoming recorded a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 3.0 percent in September 2026, unchanged from August, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The September estimate is preliminary.
Employers’ payrolls totaled approximately 295,500 nonfarm jobs. The published estimates show 400 more jobs than in August. This payroll measure counts positions, rather than individual employed residents.
The civilian labor force was approximately 285,000 people, unchanged at the table’s published precision. A stable rounded unemployment rate can coexist with movement in payroll employment and labor-force participation.
These are numerical comparisons of estimates, not a determination that each change is statistically significant. Figures may be revised. The state table was extracted October 20, 2026.
