Coahuila Economy Secretary Luis Olivares Martínez estimated that the state could finish 2026 with between 55 and 60 investment projects and around 25,000 associated direct jobs, according to statements published by El Heraldo de Saltillo.
The official said negotiations remain underway with companies whose projects could be finalized before the end of the year, amid international trade uncertainty.
The figures are year-end projections, not a final count of positions already filled. Olivares also reported more than 200 business projects during the current state administration and said details of investment amounts would be provided before the government’s annual report.
