Dallas: Former teacher accused of lying to the FBI during school investigation

Landon Beck, 32, a former teacher in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch school district, was indicted on charges of making false statements to the FBI. The investigation examined alleged inappropriate conversations with students through the school’s internal platforms.

Prosecutors reported on October 23 that a grand jury had returned the indictment on October 7. The allegations relate to interviews conducted on July 9 and July 30. The announced charge concerns alleged false statements to federal agents; criminal responsibility must be determined through the legal proceedings.
