Tomsk plans theater-museum in historic house on Bakunina Street

The Mesto Vospominaniy theater-museum plans to open in December at 26 Bakunina Street in Tomsk’s historic center. Artistic director Alyona Shafer presented the project to RIA Tomsk in an October 25 report.

The venue plans immersive productions about the city’s history, gastronomic performances, lectures and workshops. Educational programs for adults and children are also envisaged. The opening remains an organizers’ plan: the report does not confirm that the museum has started receiving visitors.
