Bayern visit Freiburg without Neuer; Urbig set to take over in goal

By Erick León

Bayern Munich confirmed that Manuel Neuer will not play in the visit to Freiburg on Sunday, October 25. The Bundesliga preview attributes his absence to a reaction to the foot problem that had already kept him out of other matches.

Jonas Urbig will take his place in goal. The game will be played at Europa-Park Stadion during Vincent Kompany’s absence, with Aaron Danks helping to lead the team.
