Baseball and cricket meet in Mumbai exhibition tournament

Former Major League players and cricket stars took part in an exhibition in Mumbai, India, on Saturday, October 24, designed to bring the two sports closer together.

The event brought together Nick Swisher, Adrián González, Jake Arrieta and Jonny Gomes with Indian athletes and softball players. It used three-person teams and a special scoring system.

The team called the Yankees beat the Dodgers in the final. It was an exhibition outside the MLB schedule. Rachel García received the most valuable player award.
