Bronx: Person charged with assaulting a federal agent

Liberty Martin was arrested and charged with physically assaulting a Homeland Security Investigations agent on October 8, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and HSI New York announced on October 21.

Prosecutors described the alleged assault in connection with an ongoing investigation. An arrest is not a conviction; the charge must be established through evidence and the judicial process.
