Camden: Man charged with attacking ICE agents with a hammer

Reinieri De Jesus Licona Amador, 27, was arrested on October 19 and charged with assaulting federal agents in New Jersey. Prosecutors announced the case on October 20 and described the alleged use of a hammer during the encounter.

The defendant appeared before a federal judge in Camden. The complaint presents the authorities’ account, which must be tested against evidence in the proceedings. Arrest is not a conviction, and Licona Amador retains the presumption of innocence on this charge.
