The State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra gave a concert at San Francisco Campeche station as part of its Maya Train Tour and activities marking its 55-year history, Sistema Mexiquense reported.
Conducted by Rodrigo Macías, the orchestra performed pieces by Mexican and international composers, including Moncayo’s Huapango, Beethoven’s Romance in F major, Op. 50, and Márquez’s Danzón No. 2.
The performance was part of a cultural tour of southeastern Mexico. This report documents an event that had already taken place, according to the October 21 account; it is not an invitation to a forthcoming concert in Campeche.
