The owner of All Types Counseling Services and five other people were charged in an alleged scheme involving at least $19 million in claims for psychotherapy services that were not provided, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois announced on October 21.
The allegations concern offices in Chicago’s southwest suburbs. Prosecutors allege that, from 2010 through 2025, the owner, an administrator and purported patients used insurance information to bill Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and split the payments. The allegations must be proven in court.
