DIF Coahuila reported that it continues to support people with breast cancer through its Life and Health Coordination office, regional offices and municipal systems, according to El Heraldo de Saltillo.
The reported assistance includes medicines, external breast prostheses and compression sleeves, as well as activities to facilitate early detection and referrals for examinations.
During October, the institution also publicized outreach teams providing examinations and mammography referrals. Interested people can contact their municipal DIF office about availability and requirements. The published information does not state that all support is provided automatically and does not replace assessment by medical professionals.
