Eisenkot seeks former Likud voters in final campaign stretch

DIMONA, Israel.— Former Likud supporters are campaigning for Gadi Eisenkot in Dimona, a traditional Benjamin Netanyahu stronghold, Reuters reported on October 25.

The agency says dissatisfaction over the October 7, 2023 security failures has opened a contest for these voters. However, longstanding loyalties to the governing party persist.

Polls indicate difficulty for either bloc in securing a majority.
