INE to Bring Voter ID Services to Prisons in Cancún, Chetumal and Cozumel

An agreement will allow INE to hold voter ID registration sessions at prisons in Cancún, Chetumal and Cozumel. The document will facilitate official identification under security and data-protection protocols. Its issuance does not mean that everyone can vote: exercise of that right depends on each person’s legal situation and the applicable rules.
