World Aquatics confirmed this month that Santiago, Chile, will host the 2028 World Junior Artistic Swimming Championships, scheduled for August 30 through September 3.
The selection is part of the age-group calendar announced through 2030. Calgary, Canada, will host the 2027 World Youth Championships; Athens, Greece, the 2029 youth event; and Canada the 2030 junior event.
The early announcement allows federations to prepare their sporting and logistical plans for the upcoming developmental championships.
