Hakavik, Buskerud.— The temporary road linking Hakavik with Eidsfoss reopened on October 25 after being closed because of water and storm damage. Repairs progressed faster than expected, Eikernytt reported, citing the county’s notice.
Authorities warned that the road surface was uneven and asked motorists to drive cautiously. Work and monitoring would continue along the section. Red Cross transport assistance was no longer needed after reopening. The closure reported earlier in the day had ended.
