Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.— Los Cabos City Hall issued a preventive advisory for forecast rain, showers with lightning and wind in Baja California Sur, urging residents to take extra precautions.

The Municipal Civil Protection and Risk Management Department said that the forecast from the National Water Commission and National Meteorological Service cited in the statement called for winds of 10 to 20 kilometers per hour, with gusts of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour across the state.

Municipal authorities recommended securing objects that could be dislodged by wind and avoiding shelter under trees or unstable structures during thunderstorms.

They also urged drivers to proceed cautiously in rain or standing water and not to cross streams carrying runoff.

The municipal government called on residents to stay informed through official channels and follow Civil Protection instructions. These recommendations relate to the advisory issued October 25, 2026.
